Returning back to school from winter break was a relaxing and well needed break. A few weeks off to relax and get your mind off school work. It sure was needed to get my mind off school work. I wanted to go visit my grandma and grandpa from both my parents side, over the break. I had plans to visit Mexico for my first time, I've never ‘in my life went there. Even though I didn't expect my break to turn out as what I thought because I was expecting to go to Mexico, I still had an amazing time in my hometown.
I did not do much besides stay in Lindsay, celebrate the holidays. My Christmas was really joyful with my family. I did not expect to get a 32” T.V as my present. My parents surprised me very well. Then my birthday came along, December 30th. My mom made some homemade tamales. It was a good gift because that is all I ate for Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then New Years was around the corner. It honestly wasn't the same as recent years with my family. We would usually head to my aunt's house and celebrate the New Year with the whole family but due to my mother working and coming home later that morning. She wasn’t there to be with us that exact moment.
Reflecting on my first semester so much work was turned in in order for me to pass that semester. The thing I enjoyed most was my effort to pass a current class. I do regret not finishing some projects in order for me to pass. The reality from my last semester did actually hit me deep. It was only because right after this semester there won't be no other semester so you have to complete every single thing in order for you to graduate from the High School.
In order for me to graduate from the High school I will need is finish my first semester work. I have some of the work that I need to fix or take test. I'm progressing my work in order for me accomplish my first semester. As of right now I am on the second semester of my senior year. It sure get to the point of the month to complete all work to not get assignments stacked up.
So far my college application is quite well for me. I have applied to a community college in Visalia. i have applied to the scholarship that College of the Sequoia has provided. I did apply to some other scholarships to help me in my education in the future. I do hope I am one of the lucky ones to get the scholarships.
